However, my computer hasn'tīeen recognizing the drive. I have a USB 3.0 to SATA connector cable that has worked in other cases. I recently upgraded to a new laptop (HP Envy), and I pulled the internal hard drive from my old computer with the intent to use it as an external drive.
I realize that this issue has been raised multiple times, but none of the solutions offered by other threads have worked.
